29 FACES - Day 1

Hi, when I saw this challenge to create a face every day for 29 days from Ayala Art, I thought no way, then methinks you definitely need the practice so get off your lazy butt and join in.  My personal challenge is to try and draw faces that are more realistic........mmm not easy, but here goes.....

Still a bit cartoonish
Drawn in Pencil

There are many artists taking part in this challenge from all over the world and many are already brilliant at making faces and then there are a few of us who are not..........lol  But a challenge is a challenge right.

So if you fancy joining in with 29 Faces press HERE for the link

Wishing you a lovely day and take care, hugs Annette x

Your face is beautiful Annette and not cartoonish at all! Drawing realistic is something I gave up a long time ago but after seeing yours I may give it a go again. Great job!! xo

I think your face is very realistic. I am using this challenge to hopefully improve my faces and to find a style that suits me. It's all about experimenting. Looking forward to seeing more of your faces.

I like your realistic face drawing! You are right, we get much practise during the february!

I used to know someone who looked exactly like that, so much so that it could be her. So your drawing definitely looks realistic.
When I did the September 29 Faces I found it exhausting, but very developmental and worthwhile. I'll be back to see some more.

Oh, I like her. I too decided not to do a skinny face model for my first one. Yours is beautiful but she does seem to be a plus sized woman. So glad you are doing the 29 Faces.

I'm participating for the first time in this challenge. Skills or not, the most important is to create!

Sketches are not my thing, I confess never to sketch my works (and it shows!), so I respect everyone who has the patience to do sketches.

Really great - she has such character... terrific start to your faces journey.
