The Final Face of 29 Faces

Woo Hoo, have completed the challenge set by Ayala Art, its a wonderful challenge to have been a part of.
Have made some new friends and met up with old friends, seen some great art with a very supportive group of artists.  The challenge has pushed me into drawing every day and given me confidence to blog my attempts.

This is my Final Face

At the moment am calling it 'Town Life' until I can think of a better title.

Sketched in Graphite Pencils, palette knife, Acrylic Paint on Watercolour Paper plus a black pen.  Did you spot the couple on the roof.......

Just in case you missed Face 28 am showing it again

Am sorry this challenge has ended,  but will continue to draw every day because I certainly need the practice.  Have now a File for all of the 29 Faces, they are going to be great references for the future, plus the family will want to have a look at them.

To finish this post am proudly showing you a picture of the prettiest face, my great grand-daughter Amy.

Thank you for your company in this great challenge as know I couldn't have done it without all your support.

Am also sharing my final face with Paint Party Friday another terrific group of Artists.

Have a wonderful weekend and take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

Love your final face Annette! The background looks terrific and I like the angle of her face, and how you did her headscarf. I can see at least 2 more couples on the roofs ... ;-) Great work. And Amy is the cutest ...

You saved the very best until last. Your last creation is fabulous Annette. The painting looks like you have sculpted her. Wow! At first I thought she was one of our Native Americans. I think she is beautiful. I do hope you keep this style up! Congratulations - you did it!!
Your great grand looks just like you - I would recognize that cute smile anywhere. You must have been ten years old when you had your first kid.
Love to you Annette!

Wow, Netty, you have done a fantastic job on all of your faces. I have really enjoyed seeing the variety of your works. The final face is really beautiful. I have trouble naming mine so I usually don't give them names. I love the ggdaughter's smile. She is adorable. Both my sisters have great grandchildren. Lucky them. I don't know if I will live long enough to see that or not since my only granddaughter (grandchild, period) is still working on her PhD.

Netty, your townscape lady is wonderful (and yes, I missed the couple on the roof, mainly because I was entranced with the lovely lady I think). I imagine that even in the town she has managed to find a secluded leafy spot in a park, where she has surrounded herself with peace and soothing greenery.
You can't know, Netty, how much I have appreciated and loved your comments during the 29 Faces challenge, and valued them. They have meant so much to me, particularly as it was a difficult month with D's minor, but time-consuming, health problems, and I found commenting difficult. Receiving your comments so regularly and faithfully has kept me going. Thank you. (Lovely great-grand-daughter, have you had your four-generation photograph taken for her to see when she grows up?).
