The Summer of Color 2013 is ending this week. Have taken part the last two years and each time I've tried to vary it. This year have made a collage, using the chosen colors by the majority (we all voted)...........have to say my choices were in the minority.........lol......it was a great challenge to take part in and to see all the wonderful pieces the members displayed.
I would also like to enter this fun piece of work with Ali-Craft who are asking for Butterflies

I love your final painting Netty, I have never worked in oil and greatly admire those who do, What a lovely idea to use all the colour combos in a final goodbye piece, I have to say my chosen colours were never vored for, loved the idea of Kelly green and navy!! Ah well maybe next year :)

This is a lovely entry for the final SOC. Like you, most of my choices were not picked, either.
The final result is just awesome. I agree, you are very talented. I never knew it had to rest for 6 months -gosh that is ages. I wouldn't have the patience haha.Happy PPF friend.

The colors are a feast for the eyes and the dimensions show so much in the Umbrella through to the love couple. I am in awe of the treed background and the life/love it takes on. So pretty - I have been "seeing" something like this from my own muse, and will have to figure out how to do that beautiful Monet-esque way to do blooming trees or flowers...very inspirational!
