The Ghost for Paint Party Friday

Hi, its been a silly week, silly in the way I have made so many mistakes.  Messed up my large Walking in the Rain painting, now have to wait for it to dry before I can hopefully save it...... basically that is just one example of my week.........so next week had darn well be better.  Another thing is I coloured my hair chestnut brown and used the enclosed conditioner, my hair looked as if it had been put in the grease pot, not a good look can assure you.  But its all OK now...........phew.........

Taken from Walter De La Mare's poem The Ghost
But have put her outside the house, looking in
This is a page from my Art Practice book, the words are digital.  All I have to do is to work out how to write this all down freehand..............but not this week..............lol

Thank you for popping in, am off to Art Class Friday morning, just hope the piece I have been working on to finish off in class doesn't go pear shaped.  Enjoy the weekend and take care of yourselves.  Hugs Annette x

Hope next week is better for you Netty. I'm sure your painting in the rain will be okay. Nice job and great quote. Love it. Thanks.

Yay, Netty. Your "ghost" is beautiful. I can't imagine what you did to Walking in the Rain, but I hope you can remedy any accidental damage.

You poor dear...what a week! Hope you can fix 'walking in the rain', and so happy that your hair is okay! This ghost painting is lovely, my friend. Thanks for sharing it with us!

I like to think there is no such thing as a mistake...only happy accidents. Making mistakes means you are learning and that's a good thing. Hope next week is better for you. Hugs ~ Rhonda♥

Oh Annette - I do love this and I mean LOVE. My favorite book from my youth is WUTHERING HEIGHTS and that was my first thought when I saw this piece. Fabulous Sugar -- well I do have my dark side, what can I say?!?

This is a real stunner Annette, love her eyes, her expression is awesome and the sentiment is beautiful. You can Google search how to make your own rub on letters using your printer. I found 1 here.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope your week improves. I am finding that by putting words on digitally, I am inspired as to how I want to do it in real life - either by hand, printing out the words, rubber stamping or what ever. I enjoy that aspect of using digital to spruce up my art. God bless.

OH dear, I know that kind of week you're talking about... and to have hair issues on top of that... I can empathize. But now you've had your share of "ugh" days,so next week can only be better with no ghosts to bother you;-)

Years ago I dyed my hair and it turned dark green. Had to go to work with it that color. Everyone just kept looking at me not knowing what to say. Took 4 hours at the beauty shop to get it out. LOL
Love this painting . You really are talented my dear.

Oh Annette - this is eerie in the most wonderful way! This reminds me so much of Sophies Choice when I first look at it and when I read the style of English....it reminds me of so many movies that speak of what she speaks...the pain, the suffering, the misconceptions...I believe you can do anything you want...rain or sunshine! You just seem like that type of gal. I believe in "you!" Lovies, Samara
