Hello Netty, it's good to see you back in business, hope everything gets better soon.
"Mystique" is a terrific painting and what you have done with it in Photo-editing is priceless, including the lights and the way you have lit up the painting, I love it.
Poor "Pretty Gruesome" she definitely needs a touch of photo-editing.

Goodness, you are having a timne of it! And you still manage to produce such vibrant, beautiful art. Love the Modigliani girls too - they remind me a little of African women with the rings on their necks.

You've really been through the wringer this year with your health netty. I hope 2015 sees you fit and healthy. I love how your painting looks in that big red luxurious room! And yes the one you did when you were ill certainly reflects your emotions at the time! Your sister is very talented-beautiful quilting.

So sorry to hear you're still struggling to get back to healthy happy living, Annette - I certainly second your wishes for a better 2015!

You are still doing amazing work nonetheless - love your first painting (especially on the gallery wall!), and the zhuzhed up Modigliani is fabulous. Am completely bowled over by the sickly journalling - as in deeply disturbed/impressed at how you made your insides spill out onto the page!

Do take care of yourself, and I hope you manage to find yourself some calm and rest in the run up to the festivities.

Glad to see you're back. Now here's hoping that your cough will go away fast! Love your version of Modigliani, and your different sketches. But I love the "gruesome" one in your journal best. Full of feeling and emotion. Art doesn't have to be pretty, as long as it conveys emotions it's beautiful. In my eyes anyway ....
