Happy New Year Paint Party Friday

Happy New Year Everyone.........................First Paint Party of 2013............

Earlier last year I painted a large Canvas of Pandora in Acrylics and its been hanging on one of my walls for 10 months.  Was never very satisfied with her so made a few changes and here she is.............

Maybe in another 10 months Pandora might be changed again...........who can tell.............

Then for fun I used photofunia and put her in a street setting...............

Thank you for popping in and showing your support of my efforts it is greatly appreciated.
Take care and have a lovely weekend, hugs ~Annette xx

:) I would love to see her on my street. Before I read your description, I thought this was a picture of a goddess with a gold and green halo surrounding her--very dreamy . . . I like the juxtaposition of this initial perception with the more ominous story of Pandora . . . It's like the penultimate moment just before the effects are realized. She looks peaceful too . . . maybe she knows there is hope.

She's so beautiful... a definite temptress! And I love your photoshopping - how fabulous it would be to have artwork like this to change the urban landscape into a gallery...

I like your Pandora - she is beautiful! Really vibrant colors. What is photofunia? Where you take your painting and put it in another scene - like, maybe Pandora is really a small painting but you enlarge it and put it in a street scene?
